It’s fun! And it drops you right into pleasure with moving your body…

Dancing with your hips allows you to feel open, sensual, and free. Especially when you combine dancing with your hips with music you love!
Now your hips are controlled by your Core Muscles in your body, and these are the center of all movement in your body. When you connect with your core muscles and strengthen them through practice and play, you build sexy, hot posture!

Now all that oxygen you get from pumping your legs, working your hips to the beat of the music, feeling your heart beat and your lungs expand…you release happiness neurotransmitters in your body, like endorphins, dopamine, and serotonin…

And I believe that our Hips are the “Pleasure Center” in our bodies. And when you feel pleasure while you’re dancing, you’ll be excited to have more pleasure in your life too! Shaking your hips and booty is a great way to get your mojo flowing!

Now Dancing is a fantastic community experience. And when you feel confident dancing with your hips, you can have fun rocking the dance floor at a club, party, or wedding. And aren’t the hottest and most fun people at a club, party, or wedding usually on the dance floor?
And you can take a local dance class and meet very inspiring people here, too.
My hot tips for how to have the most fun at a local dance class:
A lot of people don’t try a local dance class because quite simply, they have no idea what to wear!
Now to feel great when you’re dancing, wear stretchy move-able clothes (and supportive undergarments)…clothes that you actually enjoy wearing!
This makes “dancing in the mirror” in dance class, and learning something new, a much more fun and sexy experience…ditch the baggy t-shirt and gym shorts and pick some clothes that help you feel hot when you move…Just adding a bright color that you love can do the trick!
Bring a big bottle of water and enjoy drinking it while you dance. And in most dance fitness classes, you will need some sneakers…sneakers without forward tread on them are best for your knees.
Go to dance class early so that you feel relaxed and excited when class starts. And be sure to dance in the front of the room! Now most new dancers head for the back…but try to get in the front so that you can see and learn faster…and feel the energy of the class!
Say hi and introduce yourself to people around you before class begins. Go up and introduce yourself to the teacher after class. Just come up with a question or compliment and go say hi!
And as you have fun dancing and connecting with other people, you’ll be inspired to dance even more. Now that’s very exciting!
Free Your Booty…And The Rest Will Follow!
Now Parliament and George Clinton have passed along the age-old wisdom, that if you “free your mind, the rest will follow.” And that’s fantastic advice…

But I know from experience that when you “Free your Booty” when you dance…you truly have the most fun dancing…
And when you turn on your “booty-shaking engine” you will want to shake it more and more and more!
Now “freeing your booty” is a skill!For some reason most of us squeeze our butts when we walk, and if you didn’t grow up with a “freed booty,” this can be a challenging task to master.
But when you’re able to learn it through PLAY, to be IN your body while you dance, and turn off your mind: lots of beauty, pleasure, health and happiness will be your gift in return!
