Hi there–
This is Theresa Stevens, Samba Dance Teacher and a Booty-Shaking Expert!
A common question people ask me is: how did you become such a confident dancer? And how can I do it too?
Well, I’m excited to share a few of my secrets here with you…
Are you ready to Build your Confidence as a Dancer?
Let me ask you, have you been at a dance party…,
And noticed a woman who could really move her hips…
And she looked confident, hot, sexy, and comfortable in her body?
Like the music was literally coursing through her blood and she was on fire with rhythm and life?
And have you ever noticed someone who looked kind of stiff while they were dancing, like they were counting the steps as they danced?
How do YOU want to FEEL when you’re on the dance floor?
Probably sexy, confident, sexy, comfortable, and “in the flow” in your body, yes?
Well, I have a few juicy tips to share with you…
How to Build your Confidence with Dancing and enjoy the Sexy Results!
1. Connect with your Body and the Music
Now the key to being a confident dancer has to do with learning how to connect with a certain part of your body…
Many beginning dancers are very focused on stepping to the beat correctly…1,2,3…5,6,7…
And knowing when to step on the rhythm is very important. But to turn “dance steps” into Dancing, you need to know one key thing:
Most Latin and African-based dances actually come from your HIPS!
And when you learn how to connect with your Hips, you will literally learn how to PLAY the music with your Hips.
And this skill—of being able to Play Music with your Hips—is the foundational skill you need to build your confidence as a dancer.
And when you learn how to move your hips to the music and literally PLAY the music with your body, you’ll know you look fabulous on the outside…and you’ll feel alive and confident on the inside too!
2. Confident Dancers Attract the Best Partners
One of the benefits of Feeling Confident when you Dance is that you will attract the best partners—both on and off the dance floor!
Because when you’re able to play the music with your hips and feel the music in your body, then you’ll feel confident knowing you’ll be able to enjoy dancing with almost any dancer partner, no matter where they “step” on the beat.
Plus here’s another sexy perk, being a confident Dancer makes you very attractive to other people. Studies in Jamaica have shown that confident dancers attract the most beautiful, intelligent, sexy partners.
How’s that for a sexy, satisfying benefit?
3. Step into Loving & Appreciating Your Body
Plus, building confidence with Dancing also gets right to the heart of a Hidden Area of Stress and Unhappiness.
Do you find yourself feeling frustrated, upset, angry, guilty or hopeless about your body?
These are very common and very stressful feelings to have. And, they can really take a lot of fun out of enjoying your life.
The key then is to find ways to Feel Hot in the body you currently have!
And dancing, and learning how to connect to your hips and booty, is a wonderful way to spark your pleasure, feel good in your body, and love and appreciate yourself just as you are right now.
And when you find ways to feel hot in your body, just as it is right now, then you will feel confident and actually enjoy celebrating your body and your beauty with dancing!
